Wolfpack Travels to Kernersville to Compete Against Wake Forest, North Carolina

RALEIGH - The NC State men's and women's cross country teams will travel to Kernersville, N.C., Friday, Oct.16 to compete against North Carolina and Wake Forest.
Each team will be allowed up to 16 entries.

LAST TIME OUT:
Dominique Clairmonte's first-place time of 16:56.4 at the Wolfpack Invite earned her recognition as the USTFCCCA National Women's Athlete of the Week on Oct. 13 as well as ACC Women's Performer of the Week on Oct. 14. Clairmonte completed the race with a solid lead, crossing the finish line about seven seconds ahead of the second-place finisher and more than 30 seconds ahead of the third-place finisher.
Senior Hannah Steelman posted another impressive finish at the meet, claiming second place (17:03.1). The Wolfpack tabbed six of the top-10 spots at the meet and three of the top five. NC State took home the team title for the second consecutive meet.
The Wolfpack men took second at the Wolfpack Invite, with redshirt senior JP Flavin taking second (23:35.0), redshirt senior Joe Bistritz finishing third (23:45.7) and senior Ian Shanklin placing fourth (23:46.0). NC State took four of the top-10 spots.
UP NEXT:
The Wolfpack will make the short trip to Cary, N.C., for the ACC Cross Country Championship Friday, Oct. 30.
