
Wolfpack Wraps up Regular Season at Nuttycombe and Panorama Farms Invitationals

MADISON, WI - The NC State women's cross country team closed out the regular season the same way it started, with a dominant team victory. The Wolfpack captured the team title at the Nuttycombe Invitational with 41 points, finishing well ahead of conference rival Notre Dame, which placed second with 125.
Grace Hartman (19:30.1) and Angelina Napoleon (19:34.6), both making their season debuts, finished first and second to lead NC State to its third team title of the year. Bethany Michalak (19:50.7), Hannah Gapes (19:57.4) and Sadie Engelhardt (20:11.8) followed close behind, giving the Wolfpack five top-25 finishes on the day.
In Charlottesville, Va, six of the Wolfpack women competed at the Panorama Farms Invitational. Olivia Haas led, placing 18th overall and standing as the only attached Wolfpack runner to finish inside the top 25. Graduate transfer Phoebe Anderson, who ran unattached, claimed her first individual title as a member of the Wolfpack.

The Wolfpack now turns its focus to the postseason. The ACC Championships will take place on Friday, Oct. 31, at E.P. "Tom" Sawyer Park in Louisville, KY. The women's 6K is slated for 9:30 a.m., followed by the men's 8K at 10:30 a.m.
