
Softball Welcomes Virginia For Second ACC Series Of Season

RALEIGH – After clinching its first ACC series of the season last weekend, the NC State softball team will welcome Virginia to Dail Stadium this weekend for a three game series. First pitch Friday and Saturday is set for 5 p.m., and Sunday is slated for a 12 p.m. start.
The games will be streamed on GoPack.com, and live stats will be available. The Wolfpack enters the matchup with an 8-16 (2-1 ACC) record and the Cavaliers are 10-13 (2-4 ACC) this season.
PACK VS. CAVALIERS HISTORY
Friday will mark the 40th meeting between the teams, as NC State holds a 24-15 advantage in the all-time series. The Pack and Cavaliers last met in 2015 for a three game series at The Park in Charlottesville, Va., and NC State shutout Virginia in the final two games.
