RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State softball head coach Lindsay Leftwich unveiled the 2027 schedule Tuesday afternoon. The campaign features 56 total games, including 29 home dates and a rigorous slate against top national and ACC opponents.
Starting with the 2027 season, admission to all NC State regular-season home softball games at Dail Softball Stadium will be free of charge. More information about the ticketing change can be found on the landing page linked above.
In addition, there will be upgrades made to the stadium prior to the season including a new outfield wall, new turf in respective areas, dugout changes and more.
The Pack opens the 2027 season in Clearwater, Florida, at the prestigious NFCA Leadoff Classic (Feb. 11–14), squaring off against Cal Baptist, Northwestern, Auburn, Tennessee State, Long Island, and Texas Tech. Following the Florida trip, NC State returns home for two Raleigh tournaments—the Raleigh Times Tournament (Feb. 19–21) and the Marucci Classic (March 5–7)—split by a road trip to the Beach Chicken Brawl in Conway, S.C. (Feb. 26–28).
ACC competition begins at home on March 12 when Syracuse arrives in Raleigh for a three-game series. NC State's conference home slate also features Georgia Tech (March 19–21), Virginia Tech (April 9–11), and Boston College (April 23–25). Road ACC matchups take the Pack to Pittsburgh, rival North Carolina, Clemson, and Notre Dame.
