Pack Softball Hosts Campbell in Midweek Doubleheader

RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State softball team will host Campbell Wednesday afternoon at Dail Stadium. First pitch of the doubleheader is slated for 4 p.m. with the second game to follow.

The Wolfpack enters the contest with a 17-24 overall record, while the Camels have a 19-20 mark in 2016.

NC State and Campbell have met 15 times in the history of the programs with the Wolfpack owning a 14-1 advantage in the all-time series. Last season, the Pack earned a 3-1 win in Buies Creek.

Last Time Out
The Wolfpack dropped its last outing at No. 9 Florida State, while Campbell defeated Charleston Southern in its most recent game.

Rychcik Approaching 400
Fourth-year head coach Shawn Rychcik is approaching 400 career wins. Rychcik currently has 397 wins to his credit and needs three more wins to reach the milestone.

The More, The Merrier
NC State has out-hit its opponent 13 times this year and is 12-1 when accomplishing the feat.

The Wolfpack has scored first in 13 of its 17 wins this season and in contrast, has just four wins when the opponent scores first.
