Pack to Host #24 Louisville for Senior Weekend

RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State softball closes out the regular season this weekend, welcoming No. 24 Louisville to Dail Stadium for a three-game ACC series. The weekend will also serve as the program's annual Senior Weekend.
The series opens Friday, May 1, at 6 p.m. Prior to first pitch, the Wolfpack will honor nine senior student-athletes: Maia Townsend, Ellington Whitaker, Gabi Wilson, Teagan Thrunk, MaKayla Marbury, Rylee Wyman, Hannah Church, Bailey Edwards and Charli Orsini. Louisville's four seniors will also be recognized during the pregame ceremony.
Game two is scheduled for Saturday at 5 p.m., with the regular-season finale set for Sunday at 12 p.m. Before Sunday's game, NC State will recognize its two senior managers, Riley Gladden and Regan Spencer.
All three games will be streamed on ACCNX.
The Series History
- Friday marks the 25th all-time meeting between the two programs and the eighth conference series since Louisville joined the conference in 2014. The two teams are split, 5-5. in the last 10 meetings.
- The Cardinals won the last series in 2023 on its home field, but the prior three series were played in Raleigh and the Wolfpack came out on top.
