#8 NC State Set for Pair of Top 20 Matches at #2 Ohio State, #17 Michigan

RALEIGH, N.C. - The No. 8 NC State women's tennis team (6-3, 0-0 ACC) is set for a pair of top 20 road matches this weekend against No. 2 Ohio State (5-1, 0-0 B1G) and No. 17 Michigan (1-3, 0-0 B1G).
The Wolfpack will face the Buckeyes in Columbus, Ohio, on Friday, Feb. 13 at 6 p.m., before traveling to Ann Arbor, Mich., for a matchup against the Wolverines on Sunday, Feb. 15 at noon.

NC State is coming off a 1-2 showing at the 2026 ITA National Team Indoor Championships in Evanston, Ill., highlighted by a top-10 victory over then-No. 8 Oklahoma State in the opening round.
The Pack fell to top-seeded and then-No. 4 Auburn in the quarterfinals before dropping its final match of the tournament to then-No. 5 LSU in the consolation draw.

Ohio State enters Friday's contest at 5-1, with its lone loss coming in a 4-3 defeat to top-ranked Georgia in the championship match of the ITA National Team Indoor Championships. The Buckeyes made their first appearance in the tournament final, with the match decided by a third-set tiebreak on court three.
Following their runner-up finish, Ohio State moved up to No. 2 in the latest ITA team rankings.
