How it Happened
- Graduate infielder Michele Tarpey led off the evening with a double to left field. With two outs on the board, graduate Payden Bordeau hit an RBI single to get the Pack on the board, 1-0.
- Sophomore right handed pitcher Carly Maxton was tabbed the starter for the Wolfpack in the circle. She had two on base and one out on the board when she caught a batter swinging to pick up her first strikeout of the outing.
- Junior Teagan Thrunk reached base on a throwing error by the 49ers infield and was able to advance to second on the play. She would later score after a single from Tori Ensley brought her home.
- Tarpey singled to center field to record her second hit of the outing and move Ensley to third. With Taylor Ensley at the plate, Tarpey stole second and Ensley would then single up the middle to drive home her younger sister.
