WOLFPACK IN THE RANKINGS
Amelia Rajecki is ranked No. 3 in the nation. That is the highest ranking in singles by a Wolfpack player all-time, and she is only the fourth NC State player to be ranked in the top 10. She is unbeaten in 10 straight matches.
NC State is the only school in the country with two doubles pairings ranked in the top 10. Sophie Abrams and Anna Zyryanova are ranked ninth and Rajecki and Maddy Zampardo are in 10th.
Entering the weekend ranked eighth in the country the Wolfpack have now been ranked in the top 10 in all nine ITA team rankings dating back to January.
WOLFPACK RISING
Freshman Maddy Zampardo and Gabriella Broadfoot are settling in nicely with the Wolfpack as Zampardo has already earned ACC Freshman of the Week honors and is on a five match win streak and Broadfoot picked up her first ACC win last week against Wake Forest.
Three current Wolfpack players sit on the career top 10 lists in singles wins with Rajecki closing in on 100 wins with currently in fourth with 95. Rajecki would be the fourth Wolfpack player in history to eclipse 100 wins. Abigail Rencheli is right behind her with 90 in fifth and Sophie Abrams in 10th. All three are also in the top 10 in career doubles wins with Rajecki with 92, Rencheli 83 and Abrams with 68.
Head coach Simon Earnshaw is closing in on 200 wins at NC State with 191 since joining in the Wolfpack in 2014.
