RALEIGH, N.C. — The NC State women's soccer team returns home on Thursday, Oct. 3, for a 7 p.m. matchup against Boston College in its annual Pink Out game to support cancer awareness. The match will be broadcast on ACCNX.
Boston College vs. NC State
Boston College (9-2-1, 1-1-1 ACC), led by first-year head coach Chris Watkins, comes into the game on a two-match winning streak, including a 3-1 victory over Virginia Tech last week for their first ACC win of the season.
This will mark the 19th meeting between NC State and Boston College. The Wolfpack is seeking its third consecutive victory in the series. NC State holds a 5-13-0 all-time record against Boston College.
Scouting Boston College
Boston College enters the week 1-1-1 in ACC play. Their most recent conference victory came against Virginia Tech, where they secured a 3-1 win at home. Forward Paige Peltier leads the Eagles with five goals this season. Goalkeeper Wiebke Willebrandt, who has started every match for the Eagles, has a save percentage of .795, recording 35 saves.
