RALEIGH --Â Anna Rogers and Alana Smith begin competition in the singles and doubles draws at the NCAA Championships on Monday, May 20 and Tuesday, May 21. The championships, which run through May 25, will be held at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla.

No. 10 Rogers will be the fifth player in the Wolfpack's history to compete in the singles draw. The first team all-conference honoree has had an impressive 2019 campaign, posting a 30-14 singles record, including 17 wins over ranked opponents.
The junior will face No. 59 Emma Antonaki of Mississippi State in the first round on Monday at 1:30 p.m. Antonaki was recently named the ITA Southern Region's Rookie of the Year.

Smith will join Rogers in the doubles draw, marking the third consecutive year that Rogers has competed in doubles at the NCAA Championships, the most appearances in school history. The Stamford, Conn., native advanced to the round of 16 the past two seasons.

The No. 7 freshman-junior duo boasts a dominant 33-5 record, including a 14-3 mark against ranked doubles opponents.

The Pack representatives are set to face No. 20 Hana Mraz and Julia Rosenqvist of California in the first round on Tuesday.
The 2019 season marks the second time in the school's history that the team has been represented in singles and doubles in the same season. Sanaa Bhambri qualified in singles and was joined in the doubles draw by Sandhya Nagaraj in 2011.
