RALEIGH – The NC State women's golf team opens its spring schedule Sunday at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic in Rio Mar, Puerto Rico. The tournament is slated to run through Tuesday with 18 holes contested each day.

Course – Rio Mar Country Club (hosted by Purdue)
Par – 72
Yardage – 6,164
Tee Times – Sunday and Monday will be a 7 a.m. ET shotgun start, while Tuesday will be an 6:30 a.m. ET shotgun start.

Fall Season Recap
The Pack competed in three tournaments in its fall portion of the 2018-19 season, Its best finish of the season was at the Landfall Tradition (T9th). Senior Laura Kowohl led the squad in scoring average with a 73.75 and earned a top 20 individual finish at the Cougar Classic.

NC State has played at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic 11 out of the last 12 years. Last year the Pack finished fourth of 11 teams, and in 2017 the squad captured the team title as Naomi Ko won her first career tournament.
