Madsen Tabbed to ACC All-Academic Team

RALEIGH – Marie Eline Madsen of the NC State women's golf team has been tabbed to the 2026 Women's Golf All-ACC Academic Team. This marks the second straight year Madsen has been recognized with the honor.
Madsen is a sophomore business administration major. She has nearly a 3.4 cumulative GPA, while excelling greatly on the golf course. Madsen played in all 11 tournaments, re-breaking the school record for single-season scoring average with a 70.88. She was named to the WGCA All-America Second Team and Golfweek All-America Third Team, while also being tabbed to the All-ACC Team.
The Viborg, Denmark native earned three wins this season with seven top 10 finishes and 10 top 20 showings.
