Women’s Golf Continues Play At Tar Heel Invitational

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The NC State women's golf team continued play on Saturday at the Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational at Finley Golf Club in Chapel Hill, N.C. The team dropped one spot to 12th in the overall standings after shooting a 302 (+14) in round two for a total of 600 (+24).
Duke (561, -15), Virginia (569, -7) and Arkansas (572, -4) continue to hold the top three spots in the team standings.
Naomi Ko shot another 73 to remain in the top 25 of the player standings with a combined 146 (+2), while India Clyburn also turned in a 73 to sit one stroke back at T32nd with a 147.
Laura Kowohl and Lea Klimentova each carded a six-over par 78, as Kowohl is T58th with a 152 (+8) and Klimentova is T72nd with a 155 (+11). Mim Sangkapong rounded out the Pack's lineup as she is in a tie for 78th with a 157 after shooting an eight-over 80.
The Pack will conclude play at the Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational Sunday in a 9:15 a.m. shotgun start. The team will begin on holes nine through 11, and will be paired with Michigan State and UNC-Chapel Hill. Live scoring can be found on GolfStat.com.
