Women’s Golf Announces 2026-27 Schedule

RALEIGH – The 2026-27 NC State women's golf schedule has been announced by head coach Darby Sligh on Thursday. The Wolfpack will play in 10 regular-season tournaments, including hosting the City of Oaks Collegiate for the third straight year.
NC State will begin the season at the Cougar Classic for the 20th time in the last 22 seasons. The tournament will take place from Sept. 7-8 and is hosted by the College of Charleston at the Yeamans Hall Club in Hanahan, South Carolina. Marie Eline Madsen is coming off a win at the tournament last season after shooting a school-record 15-under 198 (60-67-62).
The Wolfpack will then play the following week at the Pirate Collegiate Classic, taking place at Greenville Country Club, hosted by ECU, from Sept. 14-15. NC State will then head to the Southwest alongside the men's team to play at the NB3 Matchplay from Sept. 29-30 at Twin Warriors Golf Club in Santa Ana Pueblo, New Mexico. The field includes Houston, New Mexico, New Mexico State and Oklahoma. The tournament will be broadcast on the Golf Channel. Coverage on Tuesday will take place from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. and on Wednesday from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The Wolfpack will close out the fall season with tournaments on back-to-back weekends, starting with the Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational at Finley Golf Club in Chapel Hill from Oct. 16-18. NC State will then play at the Landfall Tradition at the Country Club of Landfall in Wilmington from Oct. 23-25. NC State has been a staple in both tournaments for nearly 20 years.
NC State will kick off the spring season with a trip to the beach, as the Pack will play at the Dominican Republic Classic hosted by Purdue. The tournament will be held Jan. 31-Feb. 2 at the Cocotal Golf and Country Club in Punta Cana.
The Pack will be busy in March, starting with the Daniel Island Invitational hosted by the College of Charleston at the Daniel Island Club March 1-2. NC State will then play at the Briar's Creek Invitational, also hosted by the College of Charleston, from March 15-16 in Johns Island, South Carolina. NC State had an individual medalist in each tournament with Madsen winning the Daniel Island Invitational and Ellie Hildreth winning the Briar's Creek Invitational.
NC State will host the City of Oaks Collegiate at Lonnie Poole Golf Course from March 21-22. This marks the third consecutive year of the tournament and NC State is coming off a 13-stroke victory, while Madsen earned the individual medalist title by six strokes.
The Wolfpack will finish the regular season by playing the Hokie Highlander Invitational at the Pete Dye River Course of Virginia Tech from April 5-6.
The ACC Championship is set for April 15-18 at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina. NCAA Regionals is scheduled for May 10-12. The regional sites this season include PGA National Resort (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.), Sycamore Hills Golf Club (Fort Wayne, Ind.), Trinity Golf Club (Dallas, Texas), Stanford Golf Course (Stanford, Calif.), Old Barnwell (Aiken, South Carolina) and Vanderbilt Legends Club (Franklin, Tennessee). The NCAA Championship will take place May 21-26 at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California.
