NC State to face 12 top 50 teams in tournament field
RALEIGH – The No. 29 NC State women's golf team is set to kick off its spring season Sunday at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. The tournament is slated to run through Tuesday as the Wolfpack is one of 12 teams ranked in the top 50 of the latest GolfWeek poll that will be in competition.

Format: 54 holes [18 holes – Friday, Saturday, Sunday]
Tee Times: There will be an 8 a.m. shotgun Sunday, as NC State will be paired with players from TCU and Michigan on holes 8-11.

Wolfpack Lineup:
1 – India Clyburn (So.)
- Led the team in the fall season with 70.78 scoring average, posting a score of 72 or better in eight of nine rounds.
- Earned top-15 finishes in all three fall tournaments.
2 – Leonie Bettel (So.)
- Turned the second-best stroke average from the fall with a 73.89 average.
- Her season was highlighted by a ninth-place finish at the Tar Heel Invite (71-71-72=214).
3 – Naomi Ko (So.)
- Competed in all three fall tournaments and compiled a 74.11 career stroke average, which is a team low.
- Posted a season-best 70 (-2) in the opening round of the Cougar Classic.
4 – Sarah Bae (Sr.)
- Played in the Cougar Classic as a part of the starting lineup, shooting 74-76-74 (224).
- Also competed as an individual at the Tar Heel Invite where she finished T54th with a three-day score of 226.
5 – Cecily Overbey (Jr.)
- Saw action as a part of the traveling squad in the last two tournaments of the fall season, as four of her six rounds counted towards the team score.
- Earned a top-30 finish at the Tar Heel Invite, finishing 28th with a total of 221.
IND – Stephanie Pribonic (Sr.)
- This weekend will be the first tournament for Pribonic this season, as she will compete as an individual.
- Has competed in eight tournaments in her career with the Wolfpack.
