
NC State Remains In Sixth Through Second Day Of Landfall Tradition

Wolfpack has two players among top 20 of individual leaderboard
WILMINGTON, N.C.- The NC State women's golf team shaved off four strokes from its first round at the Landfall Tradition to post a four-over par team total of 292 on Saturday to remain in sixth place out of 18 teams.
Through two rounds, the Wolfpack holds a team score of 588 ( 12). Wake Forest leads the tournament with a three-under par 572, while South Carolina sits in second with a 579 ( 3).
India Clyburn turned in the top score for the Wolfpack on Saturday, as she carded a one-under par 71. This marks her seventh round of the season that she has posted a score of even par or better, as she is tied for ninth on the individual leaderboard.
Naomi Ko was the other Pack competitor to turn in a score of even or better on day two, as she finished the day with a 72 (E) to remain among the top 20 of the 96-player field.
Laura Kowohl trimmed three strokes off of Friday's round to turn in a 74 ( 2) and move up 13 spots on the leaderboard. Leonie Bettel and Cecily Overbey rounded out the day with rounds of 75 and 77, in respective order.
The Pack will wrap up its last tournament of the fall season Sunday, as the final round will be an 8:45 a.m. shotgun start. NC State will be paired with Furman and Purdue on holes four through six.
