McGetrick Among Leaders After 2 Rounds At Landfall

WILMINGTON, N.C. - Lindsay McGetrick kept pace with the tournament leaders during the second day of the Landfall Tradition and finds herself in the top 10 heading into Sunday's final round.
McGetrick (71-72--143) shot a 72 and is tied for ninth among 99 players to lead the Wolfpack. She carded a 1-under 71 on Friday. Rachael Taylor (81-70--151) also turned in a solid Saturday, shooting a 2-under 70 and Augusta James (74-73--147) stands just 3-over after two rounds.
As a team, the Wolfpack (+15) shaved 11 shots off its first-round score on Friday. The improvement allowed NC State to climb three spots in the team standings. The Pack is now tied with UNC Chapel Hill for 12th place among 18 teams. Wake Forest and Oklahoma State (-1) are tied for the tournament team lead.
NC State will finish the weekend - and its fall schedule - Sunday with the final round of the Landfall Tradition. All five Pack players will tee off Sunday morning at 8:45 a.m.
