Pack to Continue Homestand Against Miami

RALEIGH, N.C. - NC State women's soccer continues its three-match homestand at Dail Soccer Stadium on Sunday, Sept. 20, when the Wolfpack hosts Miami at 1 p.m. on ACCNX.
The Wolfpack enters its third ACC match at 8-0-2 after opening league play with a 2-2 draw at then-No. 18 Florida State and a 4-2 win over SMU. The results marked the first time since 2017 that NC State has gone unbeaten through its first two ACC contests. The Pack will look to remain unbeaten through its first three ACC matches for the first time since 2002.
NC State has yet to drop a match through its first 10 contests, with its 8-0-2 start marking the program's best since 1991, when the Wolfpack opened the season 14-0-0.

Last Time Out
NC State defeated SMU, 4-2, in its ACC home opener Thursday night for its first conference win of the season. Jade Bordeleau led the way with a brace, recording her third multi-goal game of the season and bringing her season total to 12.
Bordeleau gave the Pack an early lead in the fourth minute with her 11th goal of the season, setting a new career high, before SMU answered with an own goal and a penalty kick to make it 2-1. Bordeleau restored the Wolfpack's two-goal advantage in the 21st minute with her 12th goal of the season, and Erica Roberts added her fifth of the year in the 33rd minute. SMU scored late in the half, but neither team found the net after halftime as NC State secured the 4-2 victory.
Bordeleau's Back at It
Bordeleau is putting together one of the best individual seasons in recent NC State history, with 12 goals through 10 matches. Her total leads the ACC and is tied for the national lead through games played Thursday, Sept. 17. She is coming off her third multi-goal game of the season, scoring a brace in the Pack's win over SMU.
Bordeleau is closing in on the top 10 in both career and single-season goals in program history. Her 28 career goals are four shy of the 32 needed to tie for eighth in NC State history, while her 12 goals this season are two shy of the 14 needed to tie for 10th on the program's single-season list.
Bordeleau has earned ACC Co-Offensive Player of the Week honors once this season and was also named to TopDrawerSoccer's National Team of the Week once.
Scouting the Hurricanes
Miami enters Sunday's matchup at 6-2-1 overall and 1-1-0 in ACC play after falling 3-0 at No. 13 Virginia on Thursday. Prior to that setback, the Hurricanes had gone unbeaten in seven consecutive matches, posting a 6-0-1 record during that stretch. Miami opened ACC play with a 2-1 victory over SMU behind two goals from Vivien Muchuruza, who was named ACC Rookie of the Week following the performance.
Ken Masuhr enters his third season at the helm of the Hurricanes in 2026, with Miami's roster featuring 15 returning student-athletes, 11 freshmen and five transfers. The Hurricanes have scored 14 goals through nine matches, with nine different players finding the back of the net. Zoie Fontenot leads the team with four goals, while Muchuruza and Kambryl Armstrong have each scored twice.
Series History
Sunday will mark the 16th all-time meeting between NC State and Miami, with the Hurricanes holding a 7-4-4 advantage in the series.
The teams have not met since 2023, when they played to a scoreless draw in Miami. The previous meeting also ended in a draw, with the teams playing to a 3-3 tie in Raleigh in 2022. NC State's last win in the series came in 2018, when the Wolfpack earned a 1-0 victory at home.
