Women’s Tennis Set for ITA All-American Championships in Cary

CARY, N.C. - NC State women's tennis is set to compete at the 2026 ITA All-American Championships from Saturday, Sept. 19, through Sunday, Sept. 27, at Cary Tennis Park.
The ITA All-American is the first national event of the year where athletes can earn berths in the NCAA Singles & Doubles Championships. Play begins with a Pre-Qualifying draw (Sept. 19-20), followed by Qualifying (Sept. 21-22) and the Main Draw (Sept. 23-27). The ITA All-American Championships presents the opportunity for 10 singles players and five doubles pairs to qualify for the NCAA Individual Championships, which will be held in Athens, Georgia, later this fall.
The Wolfpack will have seven players compete at All-Americans, with three players going straight to the Main Draw in No. 10 Mia Slama, No. 33 Lavinia Tanasie and Victoria Osuigwe. Roisin Gilheany, Amelie Smejkalova, Jasmine Conway and Georgia Cranford will all begin their runs in the Pre-Qualifying draw.
In the preseason ITA rankings, the Pack owns a pair of ranked singles players in No. 10 Slama and No. 33 Tanasie. In doubles, NC State has the No. 2-ranked duo in the country in Osuigwe and Gilheany, the No. 16-ranked pair of Slama and Tanasie, and the No. 23-ranked team of Conway and Ariana Anazagasty-Pursoo.
