#14 Pack Takes Care of Virginia Tech

BLACKSBURG, Va. - No. 14 NC State women's tennis took care of business on the road, defeating Virginia Tech, 4-0, Friday afternoon. With the win, the Wolfpack improves to 19-6 overall and 10-1 in ACC play with one regular season match remaining.
NC State set the tone early by securing the doubles point with 6-2 victories on courts one and three. No. 2 Gabriella Broadfoot and Victoria Osuigwe earned a ranked win on court one, defeating No. 50 Arina Gamretkaia and Özlem Uslu. Mia Slama and Lavinia Tanasie followed with a 6-2 win on court three over Elizaveta Castillo and Alston Myatt to clinch the point.
In singles play, No. 39 Slama extended the Pack's lead with a 6-2, 6-1 win on court one against Uslu. No. 46 Broadfoot added another point on court three with a 6-3, 6-3 victory over Mila Mulready. Osuigwe clinched the match for NC State on court five, defeating Myatt, 6-3, 6-2.
