#20 Pack Picks Up Fifth ACC Win Over #42 Louisville

RALEIGH – 20th-ranked NC State men's tennis claimed its fifth straight conference win by defeating No. 42 Louisville 4-1 on Friday night in Raleigh.
The Pack remains unbeaten in conference action so far this season after picking up its fifth win in five matches to lead the current ACC standings. Overall, the team only carries one loss on its resume, to be the team in the conference with the least amount of wins.
Playing on the outdoor courts in the wind and chill, NC State only gave up one point to Louisville.
Yet again, the doubles lineup for the Wolfpack remained dominant to secure another doubles point, giving the edge going into singles. Charlie Camus and William Manning on court two clinched the doubles point by defeating 90th-ranked Walid Ahouda and Hamza El Amine.
The red-and-white started with the momentum, winning the first set on all six courts of singles. While in the second set, Louisville was able to swing some energy back their way, claiming court three and pushing two courts to three sets.
William Manning eventually clinched the win on court two, helping clinch both doubles and singles.

The Pack faces No. 15 Notre Dame on Sunday at noon in Raleigh.
