
Women’s Golf To Host Big Four Challenge Saturday

RALEIGH – NC State women's golf is set to host the Big Four Challenge Saturday at Lonnie Poole Golf Course in Raleigh, N.C. The Wolfpack will welcome No. 2 Duke, No. 3 Wake Forest and North Carolina to the one-day event.
The course, which is slated to be a host site for the 2023 NCAA Regional Championship, will be set up as a par 72 from 6,351 yards.
Each team will have five players competing, with semifinal matches in the morning starting at 8:30 a.m. and final/consolation matches in the afternoon beginning at 1 p.m. The Wolfpack and Blue Devils will match up while the Demon Deacons and Tar Heels will compete in the morning. The winners and losers from both sets of matches will then go against each other in the afternoon.
Additionally, individual competitors from each school will compete in 18 holes of stroke play.
Isabel Amezcua, Natalie Armbruester, Inja Fric, Lea Klimentova and Monika Vicario will represent the Wolfpack in the match play portion of the event, while Pilar Berchot, Nicole Kramer, Shirley Ou and Ryann Sinclair will compete in the stroke play side.
Spectators will not be permitted to attend the event. There will be no live scoring, but results will be posted to the team's social media accounts throughout the day and on GoPack.com after the conclusion of play.
