
NC State Closes Home Slate with 196.100 on Senior Day

The Pack Posted Its Second-Highest Score of the Season
RALEIGH – In its home finale Saturday night, the No. 27 NC State gymnastics team posted its second-best score of the season (196.100) to take first-place honors in its quad-meet with No. 28 Arizona, No. 35 George Washington, and Texas Woman's University inside Valvano Arena at Reynolds Coliseum.
NC State collected nine podium finishes in the meet, including six titles or shares of the title on each event.
Drew Grantham recorded two 9.900 performances, on vault and beam, to claim shares of the titles. Those efforts contributed to her career-high all-around score (39.475), tying for the ninth-best all-around score in school history.
Alexa Phillips closed out her home career with a 9.900 performance on floor, her best of the season.

Vault (48.950)
Grantham led the Pack, recording her third consecutive 9.900 on vault as the anchor. Her performance on Saturday was her fourth 9.900 vault of the season. Alexa Phillips and Paris Phillips contributed scores of 9.825 and 9.8000 for the Pack. Rounding out scoring for the Pack was Caitlyn Fillard (9.725) and Lauren Kent (9.700).
Bars (48.850)
Maggie Tamburro and Grantham completed the Pack's best performances on bars, recording scores of 9.800. With a 9.775, Fillard posted the third-highest score for the team. Lauren Kent (9.750), Melissa Brooker (9.725), and Meredith Robinson (9.700) also performed well in the Pack's second event of the day.
Beam (49.175)
NC State posted its season-best on beam Saturday. Grantham collected her second 9.900 on the day, setting a new career high on the event. Kent recorded a 9.850 for the Pack, tying her career high. Leading off NC State with a solid performance, Alliah Harrison's 9.825 tied her career high. Fillard (9.800) and Nicole Webb (9.800) also contributed elegant performances for the Pack.
Floor (49.125)
Alexa Phillips ended her career inside Valvano Arena at Reynolds Coliseum with her first 9.900 performance of the season. Grantham followed closely behind, anchoring the team with a 9.875. Webb posted a 9.825, while Kent (9.775) and Brooker (9.750) rounded out scoring for the Pack.
