NC State Collected Five Podium Finishes
KENT, Ohio -- The 27th-ranked NC State gymnastics team took second-place honors at a tri-meet at Kent State with George Washington on Sunday. The Wolfpack posted its highest score of the season on vault (49.175), led by Drew Grantham's 9.900. NC State totaled a 195.400 on the day, and collected five podium finishes.

Straight from the Pack: Head Coach Kim Landrus
"It's hard to explain the grit and determination that team displayed in the second half of the meet. At the halfway point, we definitely hadn't competed near our potential. I think everyone knew that we had to dig deep and make sure the last two events were performed at a different level. Floor and vault were great. A season-high vault score definitely put an exclamation point on the end of the meet!"
