
#25 NC State Posts Highest Road Score of Season

The Pack Took Home Three Event Titles
DURHAM, N.H. – The No. 25 NC State gymnastics team posted a 195.850, its highest score on the road this season, to take second place in a quad-meet at No. 29 New Hampshire with Brown and Rutgers. Conference foe New Hampshire took first-place honors with a score of 196.000. NC State now holds a 5-1 record in conference competition.
The Pack claimed three event titles (all-around, vault, bars) and collected five podium finishes Saturday night. Drew Grantham and Lauren Kent posted their fifth and third 9.900+ scores of the season, earning gold-medal honors on vault and bars.
Caitlyn Fillard earned the all-around title, finding a place on the podium in all-around competition for the fifth straight meet.

NC State's 49.100 on bars to kick off the meet is the highest bars score on the road this season. Kent's third 9.900 bars performance of 2019 led the Pack to its fourth 49.000+ score on bars. With a 9.875, Maggie Tamburro contributed a stellar performance. Fillard (9.800), Grantham (9.775), and Meredith Robinson (9.750) rounded out scoring for the Pack.
Beam (48.800)
Nicole Webb anchored the Pack on beam, posting a 9.850 to lead the squad. Alexis Beucler made her 2019 debut, recording a 9.825. Leading NC State off, Alliah Harrison scored a 9.725.
Floor (49.050)
Paris Phillips' 9.875 was the top score for NC State. With a 9.825, Webb also had an impressive display on floor. In her first performance on floor this season, Beucler posted a 9.800. Fillard and Alexa Phillips recorded scores of 9.775.
