RALEIGH – Following two straight impressive team performances, the NC State men's golf team returns to action on Monday at the two-day Gary Koch Invitational. Hosted by the University of Kentucky, the tournament will be played at Gaston Country Club in Gastonia, N.C.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT
The tournament will feature 36 holes of golf on Monday and 18 on Tuesday.

RECENT RESULTS AND SEASON RECORD
The Wolfpack is coming off two straight impressive performances. On March 19, NC State finished fourth at the Schenkel Invitational thanks in part to top-five finishes from freshman Benjamin Shipp (4th) and sophomore Stephen Franken (T5th). In the team's next tournament, the Wolfpack finished ahead of two top-25 teams and tied with another in a third-place result at the Hootie at Bulls Bay. Franken (4th) and Shipp (T17th) also finished in the top 20 of this tournament while sophomore Nolan Mills Jr. (T30th) recorded one of his best performances in a large tournament.

To this point in the season, NC State's cumulative record sits at 68-39-3.

THE NC STATE LINEUP
Stephen Franken – Leads team with 71.0 stroke average and four top-10 results this season.
Benjamin Shipp – As a freshman, has recorded three top-10 results in just seven tournaments.
Nolan Mills Jr. – Counted all three rounds in most recent tournament, finishing T30th at Hootie at Bulls Bay.
Jacob McBride – Upcoming competition will feature career rounds 100, 101, and 102 for the senior.
Harrison Rhoades – His 73.5 stroke average per round ranks fourth on the team this spring.
