RALEIGH – Just days after claiming the top team and individual honors at the Wolfpack Spring Open to close regular-season play, the NC State men's golf team begins postseason action Friday at the 2017 ACC Championship. The 64th annual league championship will take place from April 21-23 at the 6,951-yard, par-72 Arnold Palmer designed course at the Musgrove Mill Golf Club in Clinton, South Carolina. Admission is free for traveling fans.

Entering the ACC Championship as the No. 8 seed, NC State will tee off from the 10th hole between 9-9:48 a.m. alongside competitors from Virginia Tech and UNC-Chapel Hill.

RECENT RESULTS AND SEASON RECORD
NC State enters the 2017 ACC Championship having finished in the top four of tournament fields in four consecutive tournaments. To this point in the season, the Wolfpack has posted a cumulative season record of 95-40-3 and has 14 victories over teams ranked within the Golfstat top 50. At the recent Wolfpack Spring Open, NC State defeated No. 15 Clemson and then-No. 19 Duke.

Stephen Franken – NC State's stroke average leader this season at 70.9 strokes per 18 holes.
Benjamin Shipp – A freshman, earned his fourth top-10 finish at the Wolfpack Spring Open.
