Clyburn among top 10 of individual standings with two-under 142
KANE'OHE, Hawai'i - The No. 21 NC State women's golf team shot combined scores of 290 and 299 on Tuesday at the 32nd Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational at the Kane'ohe Klipper Golf Course in Kane,ohe Hawai'i. Heading into the final round the Wolfpack sits in a three-way tie for sixth of 15 teams with a 36-hole total of 589 (+13).
Texas A&M leads the field with 572, and Washington State and Oklahoma State round out the top three of the team standings with scores of 576 and 585, in respective order.
India Clyburn shot a pair of 71's to post a team low 142 (-2) and is in a tie for seventh. Leonie Bettel additionally posted two rounds of 74 to sit at T29th with a 36-hole score of 148 (+4).
Sarah Bae sits one stroke behind Bettel at T34th after shooting 72 in round one and 77 in round two for a combined 149 (+5), and Naomi Ko is one stroke back from Bae in T41st with a 150 (+6) after posting scores of 73 and 77.
Cecily Overbey rounds out the Pack's traveling five, sitting in a tie for 87th with a 161. She shot 78 in the first round and 83 in the second.
The Pack will wrap up play Wednesday at the 32nd Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational. There will be a 2:00 p.m. ET shotgun start and NC State will be paired with players from Idaho, SMU and Hawai'i on holes five through eight.
