Pack Women’s Golf Posts 282 In Win Over Rainbow Wahine

Clyburn fires bogey-free 67 for medalist honors
KAPOLEI, Hawai'i - The No. 23 NC State women's golf team put together a six-under par 282 on Saturday to defeat the University of Hawaii by 17 strokes, as the Rainbow Wahine finished the day with a 299 (+11) at the Kapolei Golf Course in Kapolei, Hawai'i.
India Clyburn earned medalist honors with a bogey-free 67 to lead the team to a season low score, and Sarah Bae placed second overall with a two-under par 70. Clyburn's round marked a career best for the sophomore, while Bae's outing ties her season low.
Leonie Bettel placed third in the individual standings with a 72 (E), while Cecily Overbey finished in a tie for fourth with a 73 and Naomi Ko rounded out the top five for the Wolfpack with a two-over par 74 to finish sixth.
Now holding two-straight wins on the season, the Pack will return to action March 14-15 in the 32nd Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational March, hosted by Hawai'i. Both days will be a 2:00 p.m. ET shotgun start at the Kane'ohe Klipper Golf Course.
