BRADENTON, Fla. - The NC State women's golf team is in the middle of the standings after a weather-shortened first round at the NCAA Women's Golf Championship. The Wolfpack is currently tied for 10th place but all five players are yet to complete 18 holes.
There was a 59-minute weather delay a couple hours into the round, and shortly before 7 p.m. ET, the horn sounded once more to again stop play. The round was then suspended with 12 of the field's 24 teams having completed the day's competition.
NC State and the other 11 teams who need to finish the first round will pick up where they left beginning at 8:30 a.m. The Wolfpack will finish on the ninth hole and then play the second round.
