CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The NC State women's tennis team was topped by No. 70 Boston College, 5-2, on Friday. The Pack moves to 6-13 (2-6 ACC) with the loss, while the Eagles improve to 8-10 (2-6 ACC).
NC State won the doubles point to take an early 1-0 lead, but Boston College rallied to win five of six singles matches to claim the victory.
Christy Sipes picked up the lone win for the Pack, defeating Kelly Barry, 6-4, 6-3.
NC State will return to action on Sunday against No. 73 Maryland in College Park, Md. The match is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
