CLEMSON, S.C. - The No. 75 NC State women's tennis team was topped 6-1 by No. 18 Clemson on Sunday in the final regular match of the regular season on Sunday. The Pack falls to 7-15 (3-8 ACC) with the loss, while the Tigers improve to 15-8 (8-3 ACC).
Junior Tatiana Illova won the only point for the Pack, defeating Clemson's Klara Vyskocilova, 6-1, 7-6(3). Vyskocilova, ranked No. 63 in the nation, is the first ranked opponent that Illova has defeated this season.
NC State will return to action on Thursday at the ACC Championships in Cary, N.C. Pairings for the tournament have not been announced yet.
