
W. Golf Completes Play at Bryan National

BROWNS SUMMIT, N.C. - The NC State women’s golf team finished up at the Bryan National Collegiate by shooting a weekend best team score of +21 (309) on Sunday at the Bryan Park Players Course just outside Greensboro.
NC State placed 17th in a field of 14 ranked teams with a 54-hole score of +77 (316-316-309=941).
Senior Kathleen Strandberg led the Pack by placing 66th at +16 (72-83-77=232). She played a steady third round with five bogeys and 13 pars.
Sophomore Meghan Chapman shot a six-over 78 on Sunday to finish up tied for 72nd at +19 (82-75-78=235). She had three birdies this afternoon during her round.
Junior Brooke Baker tied for 79th at +21 (79-81-77=237). She birdied the par-5 12th hole to cap her final round of the weekend.
Senior Emily Street posted a second-straight five-over par 77 during Sunday‘s final round. Street collected a birdie at No. 14, a 488-yard par-5 and finished tied with Baker for 79th at +21 (83-77-77=237).
Senior Joanna Saleeby finished 94th at +36 (83-84-85=252). Saleeby birdied the par-5 No.12 for the second straight day.
Florida State (873) won the team event by one stroke over co-host Wake Forest (874). The Deacs Cheyenne Woods -5 (211) earned a two-stroke victory over Tennessee‘s Nathalie Mansson.
Final round action starts at 8:30 am.
