
Women's Golf Tied For Ninth At Landfall

WILMINGTON, N.C. - The NC State women's golf team remains in a tie for ninth place after two rounds of the Landfall Tradition Collegiate Golf Invitational at the Country Club of Landfall's Jack Nicklaus Course. Stephanie Derrey shot four strokes over par in the second round to lead the Wolfpack on Saturday.
Jessica Vincent leads NC State at 14 over and is tied for 28th place. Lorraine Ballerano and Molly Birmingham are both tied for 38th place at 17 over. Derrey improved 10 strokes from her first round score and Lauren Harling shaved seven strokes off her first round total in the second round.
Purdue increased its lead to 12 strokes over the 12-team field, firing one over in the second round. Leisl Hasbrouck from Tulsa shot par in the second round and is in first place at two under. The Landfall Tradition concludes Sunday with a final round of 18 holes. Complete results, as well as live scoring, are available at www.golfstat.com.
