Vincent Tied For Ninth At Landfall

WILMINGTON, N.C. - Jessica Vincent shot four over par in the first round of the Landfall Tradition Collegiate Golf Invitational to lead the NC State women's golf team Friday at the Country Club of Landfall's Jack Nicklaus Course. The Wolfpack is 33 over and tied for ninth place out of 12 teams and Vincent is tied for ninth individually.
Molly Birmingham fired seven over in the first round and is tied for 25th place and Lorraine Ballerano is two strokes behind her. Lauren Harling and Stephanie Derrey are also competing for NC State.
Purdue leads the field after one round and Leisl Hasbrouck from Tulsa is in first place at one under. The Landfall Tradition continues Saturday with a second round of 18 holes and concludes Sunday with the final round. Complete results and live scoring are available at www.golfstat.com.
