
Women's Golf A Solid Seventh After First Round

Greenville, SC - The Women's Golf team is tied for seventh after the first round at the Lady Paladin. Sarah Bonner leads the Wolfpack with a two-over 74 and is tied for 12th place. She is four strokes off of the lead heading into tomorrow second round at the Furman University Golf Course. Colby Cobb is in 21st place with a three-over 75 on the par 72, 5,984 layout. As a team, the Wolfpack is eleven strokes (306, +18) off of co-leaders North Carolina and host Furman.
Courtney Pomeranz is knotted in 39th place with a six-over-par 78, while Briana Vega rounds out the scoring for the Wolfpack in round one with a seven-over-par 79 and a 50th place showing. Erica Wein fired an 81 to claim a share of 68th.
Round two action tees off Saturday at 8am.
