Women's Golf Finishes 12th At Dodge ACC/SEC Invitational

DESTIN, Fla. (Oct. 1) - Celeste Troste earned medalist honors and she led the
Auburn University women's golf team to the championship of the inaugural
Dodge ACC/SEC Women's Golf Invitational at the Raven Course at the
Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. Auburn's victory helped the SEC earn the
team title for its conference as the six teams from the SEC combined to
defeat the ACC team made up of four ACC teams plus Furman and Miami
(Fla.).
The Wolfpack, playing in just its second tournament since the program was reinstated this fall, placed 12th in the event. With a roster of five freshmen, NC State finished with a three day total of 1,019.
Malin Claesson, a rookie from Kalmar, Sweden was NC State's top finisher with a 54-hole score of 248 to finish tied for 43rd.
