Kyle Fiala joined the Wolfpack in April 2019, working in the Business Office as a Financial Analyst. He currently serves as the Assistant Athletic Director for Finance.
At NC State, Kyle is responsible for completing internal & external financial reports, including the annual NCAA, EADA, & ACC reports, assisting with the short-term & long-term budget process, preparing monthly financial reconciliations, & analyzing current financial trends & metrics related to college athletics. He also serves as the NC State Athletic Department Internship Coordinator.
Prior to coming to NC State, Kyle worked for a year in corporate finance on the Finance & Data Reporting Team at Worldpay (now FIS). While at Worldpay, he used databases and business intelligence tools to provide financial analysis & reporting across the finance organization and prepared a daily report for the executive team that conveyed key organizational performance metrics & analytics.
He then applied and was accepted into the NCAA Postgraduate Internship Program. While working at the NCAA, Kyle completed 2-month rotations in 6 different business units, including Finance & Accounting, Internal Audit, Business Performance Management, Information Technology, Purchasing & Operations, & Human Resources.
A native of Carmel, Indiana, Kyle earned a degree in Finance from the University of Notre Dame in 2017. While at Notre Dame, he was a student-athlete on the Baseball team where he served as a Team Captain his senior year and had a distinguished career from 2014-2017.
