Eliza joined NC State September 2023 as a communications assistant, and serves as the primary contact for NC State’s cross country, track & field, and swimming & diving programs.

Magana began her career as a student volunteer with NC State athletics before serving as the primary communications contact for the men’s tennis team during the 2023-24 season and transitioning to women’s tennis and swimming & diving for the 2024-25 season.

Magana graduated from NC State in spring 2026 earning her bachelor's degree in Sport Management with a minor in leadership and cross-disciplinary perspectives. During her time at NC State, she also served as a four-year creative media intern with the NC State football team.
