Bordeleau Named IWSOC/USC Forward to Watch

RALEIGH, N.C. - Senior captain Jade Bordeleau has been named a forward to watch by the Intercollegiate Women's Soccer Organization for Coaches (IWSOC) and United Soccer Coaches as part of the organizations' NCAA Division I Women's Players to Watch list for the 2026 season, the organizations announced Monday.
The Players to Watch lists are compiled by the Division I All-America Committees and feature returning players who earned United Soccer Coaches All-America or All-Region honors during the 2025 season.
Bordeleau is coming off one of the best individual seasons in recent NC State history after leading the Wolfpack with 21 points on 10 goals and one assist in 2025. Her 10-goal campaign made her the program's first player to reach double figures in goals since Tziarra King scored 13 in 2019.
The Terrebonne, Quebec, native earned All-ACC Second Team honors, marking her first career All-ACC selection and NC State's first since 2023. She was also named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Atlantic Region Fourth Team. Bordeleau paced the Wolfpack with 61 shots and scored in four of the team's five victories, helping NC State record its most overall wins since 2022 and most ACC points since 2019.
Bordeleau enters her senior season as one of two team captains and will look to build on her breakout 2025 campaign as the Wolfpack opens the 2026 season.
NC State opens the 2026 season Wednesday, Aug. 12, at James Madison at 7 p.m. The match will air live on ESPN+. The Wolfpack's home opener is set for Thursday, Aug. 20, against Charlotte at 5 p.m. at Dail Soccer Stadium.
