Women’s Soccer Announces 2026 Schedule

RALEIGH, N.C. - NC State women's soccer has released its 2026 schedule, as announced by head coach Gary Higgins on Wednesday. The upcoming slate features eight matches at Dail Soccer Stadium, including three nonconference contests and five Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) matches. The Wolfpack will officially open the season on August 12 following a pair of home exhibition matches.
NC State will begin exhibition play on Wednesday, August 5 against East Carolina, followed by a second preseason matchup against Liberty on Saturday, August 8. Both contests will be held at home.
The Wolfpack opens its regular season against James Madison for the second consecutive year, this time traveling to Harrisonburg on Wednesday, August 12. NC State will then head to Richmond to face VCU on Sunday, August 16.
The home opener is set for Thursday, August 20 against Charlotte at Dail Soccer Stadium. The Pack will remain at home that weekend, hosting Elon on Sunday, August 23.
NC State returns to the road for a matchup at High Point on Thursday, August 27, before coming back to Raleigh to host Davidson on Sunday, August 30.
Following the match against Davidson, the Wolfpack will embark on a three-match road stretch, beginning at Western Carolina on Thursday, September 3. NC State will then travel to Campbell on Sunday, September 6 before opening ACC play at Florida State on Friday, September 11.
The Pack returns home for three consecutive matches, starting Thursday, September 17 against SMU. NC State will also host Miami on Sunday, September 20 and Virginia Tech on Sunday, September 27.
NC State travels to Wake Forest on Sunday, October 4 before closing out its home slate with matches against Pittsburgh on Thursday, October 8 and Syracuse on Thursday, October 15.
The Wolfpack wraps up the regular season with a three-match road swing, beginning with a trip to Duke on Saturday, October 24. NC State will then head to California for its final weekend, facing Stanford on Thursday, October 29 and California on Sunday, November 1.
The 2026 ACC Women's Soccer Championship will follow the regular season, with the top teams in the conference qualifying for postseason play. Championship dates will be announced at a later time.
