#21 Gymnastics Welcomes West Virginia for Senior Night Dual

RALEIGH, N.C. – No. 21 NC State gymnastics will host West Virginia on Friday, March 13 inside Reynolds Coliseum to close out the regular season. The meet will serve as the program's Senior Night and is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. on ACC Network Extra with Sydney Snead and Rachel Garland on the call.
Following the conclusion of Friday night's meet, the Wolfpack will honor the program's four seniors: student manager Macy Bryson and gymnasts Meg Adler, Kailee Adomaites and Madeline Reid. Each of the four individuals being honored has spent all four years of their collegiate careers at NC State and has left a lasting mark on the program. Fans are encouraged to stay following the meet to watch the senior ceremony.
Senior Night Success
NC State has found plenty of success at its senior meets in recent years, winning the event in each of the last three seasons. In 2025, the Pack recorded season-high event scores on beam and floor to finish with a 197.000 and earn a ranked win over No. 23 Ohio State on Senior Night.
In 2024, the Wolfpack posted a 197.375 against Penn, Penn State and Texas Woman's University, the then third highest and now fourth-best score in program history, to win the quad meet. The victory also completed an undefeated home season inside Reynolds Coliseum.
During the 2023 senior meet, the Pack recorded its best score of the season, using the then second-highest and now sixth-best mark in program history to defeat Rutgers, 197.225–196.225, in a dual meet on Senior Day.
Last Time Out
NC State scored a 196.625 at the Ohio State Quad on March 8, topping No. 16 Penn State (196.550) and Eastern Michigan (194.725) while finishing second to host No. 20 Ohio State (197.150), which secured the victory on the final routine of the afternoon.
The Pack earned the vault title from Syniya Thomas, who recorded a career-high 9.900 for the second meet in a row. Lauren Wright and Emerson Fisk also added career-best scores to the rotation as NC State posted the top team score on the event with a 49.175.
The Wolfpack also claimed a bars win from Katie Harper, her first of the season, as she tied for first place in a five-way tie with a 9.900. The score marked Harper's 11th career 9.900+ on bars, moving her into sole possession of second place in program history for most 9.900+ scores on the event.

The Wolfpack most recently faced West Virginia at the Towson Quad on March 1, where NC State posted a season-high 197.150 to win the meet. The Mountaineers finished third with a 196.350, behind both the Pack and host Towson.

During the campaign, NC State has posted a season-high score of 197.150, which ranks as the sixth-highest team score in program history. The Pack has also reached impressive marks on each of the four events, recording season highs of 49.275 on vault, 49.450 on bars, 49.400 on beam and 49.450 on floor. All four marks rank among the top five scores on their respective events in program history.
Entering its final meet of the regular season, the Wolfpack will look to close out the slate strong ahead of the 2026 ACC Gymnastics Championships.
