
Wolfpack Set for ACC Championships

RALEIGH, N.C. – After a historic regular season, NC State's postseason is set to begin May 15-17 at the ACC Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Wake Forest University in Winston Salem NC.

Sophomore Kaitlyn Hartman continued her standout season in the 5,000 meters, taking an early lead and dominating the race with a personal-best time of 14:58.11. This performance marks the best-ever 5,000-meter time in NC State program history. Hartman now ranks No. 3 in NCAA Division I this season and No. 4 all-time in NCAA competition. She holds both the indoor and outdoor school records for the 5,000 meters.
The women's 4x400-meter relay team of Madison Moraja, Kyra Durham, Jordyn Parker, and Shauné Ingraham set a season-best time of 3:42.11, good for No. 2 on the program's all-time list.
Brett Gardner recorded a personal best in the 1,500 meters with a time of 3:40.59, finishing 11th. His time ranks fourth on the program's all-time list.
Xavier Branker notched a season-best 400-meter hurdles time of 50.46, moving into the No. 3 spot on the program's all-time list.
Jordyn Parker placed seventh in the 200 meters with a time of 23.88, which ranks No. 8 all-time at NC State.
In the men's 110-meter hurdles, Alexander Nunley and James Coleman both set personal records. Nunley finished fourth in 14.11, while Coleman placed seventh in 14.23.

Patrick Tuohy clocked an impressive 1:47.56, setting new standards for both the facility and the NC State track and field program.
In field events, Tony Taylor II earned a third-place finish in the hammer throw.
The Wolfpack women also had strong showings:
- Ta'Honny Exum claimed first place in the shot put with a throw of 14.30 meters (46' 10.75").
- Sydney Freeman took second in the hammer throw with a mark of 52.18 meters (171' 2.25").
- Jakerra Covington placed third in the javelin with a throw of 41.60 meters (136' 5.75").
