
No. 2 Seed NC State Hosts No. 7 Seed Michigan State in NCAA Tournament Round of 32

RALEIGH – The No. 9/9, 2-seed NC State women's basketball team has moved on to the second round of the NCAA Tournament to face 7-seed Michigan State on Monday, March 24. The game will tipoff at noon from Reynolds Coliseum and will be aired on ESPN. NC State is looking for its 17th NCAA Sweet 16 berth in school history, sixth in the Wes Moore era, as the Pack is playing in its 30th all-time NCAA Tournament.
PARKING
Fans may park in the Coliseum Deck beginning at 11 AM. Patrons are encouraged to continue to the top floors of the deck where there is plenty of available parking.
Handicapped parking and NCAA parking permits will be located in the Jeter Bays lot directly adjacent to Reynolds Coliseum. This lot opens at 11 a.m., and anyone wishing to park here will need to have their handicap placard or NCAA parking permit displayed in their car. Parking will be limited, so please arrive early to allow yourself extra time to park and for entry. Fans are encouraged to carpool.
Traffic will be heavy due to campus movement with classes. Expect delays and give yourself time to arrive.Â
Campus is operating on its regular class schedule on Monday. Parking could be limited, so please work with the parking staff on hand to assist you as needed.
ABOUT NC STATE
- ​​​​The Wolfpack is a No. 2 seed, hosting for the 13th time in program history, fifth time in the Wes Moore era (fifth time in the last six tournaments)
- NC State is coming off its 27th win of the season, 22nd straight at Reynolds Coliseum and 20th straight in an NCAA Tournament game in Raleigh with a 75-55 win over 15-seeded Vermont in the NCAA Tournament Round of 64

- NC State is No. 16 in the NET and has an average opponent NET opponent ranking at No. 65, which is third in the country (trailing South Carolina- 58 and Duke - 63), as well as the 12th toughest strength of schedule in the country
- NC State is one of eight schools in the country to have picked up at least eight Quad 1 NET wins. The Pack is one of 10 schools to have at least 17 top 100 wins, tied for the second most in the country
- The Pack has four players who average double digits in scoring and has six who average 6.8 points per game or more
- Aziaha James leads NC State with 17.8 points per game, which is No. 6 in the ACC with 69 made 3-pointers. She is an AP and USBWA All-America Honorable Mention choice
- Madison Hayes paces the Pack with 7.2 rebounds per game
- Saniya Rivers leads the Pack in steals per game (1.6) and blocks per game (1.3)
- Zoe Brooks has a team-leading 3.7 assists per game
- Trygger is logging a 53.3 field goal percentage (89-167), which is the best among players with 100+ attempts, and has a team's most 66 offensive boards
- The Pack leads the ACC and is third in the country in least fouls per game (12.1). NC State is second in the ACC in defensive rebounds per game (29.5), which is eighth in the country, as well as turnovers per game (11.7) and rebounds per game (41.4), which are 11th and 18th in the country. NCAA TOURNAMENT HISTORY
- The Wolfpack is playing in its 30th NCAA Tournament appearance

SERIES HISTORY (NC STATE TRAILS 1-2)
