Jade Bordeleau Earns Spot on All-ACC Second Team

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - NC State women's soccer's Jade Bordeleau has been named to the All-ACC Second Team, as announced by the conference Wednesday afternoon. The honor marks the junior forward's first career All-ACC recognition and the program's first since 2023, when Jameese Joseph earned third-team honors. Bordeleau is also NC State's first second-team selection since Joseph in 2021.
"I am so proud of Jade," said head coach Gary Higgins. "She thoroughly deserves this recognition. To score 10 goals in a season is a fantastic achievement but to score seven goals in 10 games in the ACC is truly exceptional. Not only did she help the team with her goal contribution, but she worked tirelessly in every game and helped lead our team to some very important results."
Bordeleau turned in one of the Wolfpack's best individual seasons in recent years, leading NC State with 21 points on 10 goals and one assist. Her 10-goal campaign made her the program's first player to reach double digits in goals since Tziarra King netted 13 in 2019.
The Terrebonne, Quebec, native also became the only NC State player in the 21st century to score in five consecutive matches, a streak that spanned from Sept. 18 at SMU through Oct. 9 at Boston College.
Bordeleau paced the Pack with 61 shots on the year and played a central role in the team's offensive success, scoring in four of NC State's five wins. Her efforts helped the Wolfpack record its most overall wins since 2022 and most ACC points since 2019.
