Grace Hartman Named Co-USTFCCCA Division I National Athlete of the Week

NEW ORLEANS - NC State cross country runner Grace Hartman has been named the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches NCAA Division I National Athlete of the Week, sharing the honor with Jane Hedengren (BYU).

Hartman earned the recognition after an impressive first-place finish (19:30.0) in her season debut at the Nuttycombe Invitational. Capturing the individual title along with four teammates finishing in the top-25 helped the Wolfpack women secure their third team title of the season.

The honor marks Hartman's first career USTFCCCA National Athlete of the Week selection and the second this season for NC State cross country, following Hannah Gapes' award on Oct. 6.
