RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State men's and women's cross country head coach and Director of Track & Field and Cross Country Laurie Henes announced the Wolfpack 2026 cross country competition schedule.
The Wolfpack opens the season right down the road, hosting the Adidas XC Challenge on Sept. 18 in Cary, N.C.
Two weeks later, select athletes will travel to South Bend, Ind., for the Joe Piane Invitational, while the remainder of the squad heads to Greenville, N.C., to compete in the Dill Family Foundation Invitational on Oct. 2. NC State closes out the regular season on Oct. 16, with select runners traveling to Terre Haute, Ind., for Pre-Nationals.
Postseason competition begins Oct. 30 at the ACC Championships. The NC State men will compete for their 16th ACC Championship and first since 2011.
The Wolfpack will then travel to Spartanburg, S.C., for the NCAA Southeast Regional Championships. The NC State women enter the meet seeking their 10th consecutive Southeast Regional title.
The 2026 campaign concludes Nov. 21 at the NCAA Championships in Terre Haute, Ind. on the national stage.
