
No. 21 NC State Heads to No. 18 Stanford for ACC Competition

RALEIGH, N.C. – No. 21 NC State will travel to No. 18 Stanford to kick off ACC competition at Maples Pavilion in Stanford, Calif. The meet will be broadcast live on ACC Network Extra at 5 p.m. ET.

SCOUTING THE CARDINAL
NC State last saw Stanford in 2017 at a Quad Meet hosted by George Washington. The Wolfpack hold a 1-0 record against the Cardinal scoring 194.825- 193.275.
Stanford was selected to finish the 2025 season second in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). They enter week 3 ranked No. 18 in the nation and are led by Junior Anna Roberts, the Cardinal's first NCAA event champion on vault.
LAST TIME OUT
NC State gymnastics scored a 195.000 to place fourth in the Sprouts Farmers Market Collegiate Quad on Jan. 10. No. 13 Michigan claimed first with a 195.925, followed by Arizona (195.825), Clemson (195.350), and NC State (195.000).
Chloe Negrete led NC State with scores of 9.800 or higher on vault, beam, and floor. Katie Harper anchored the team on bars with a 9.825.
Syniya Thomas and Chloe Negrete tied for second on floor with a career-high 9.875. Freshmen Caroline Volk and Ava Myers delivered career-best performances on bars, scoring 9.800 and 9.725, respectively. Lauren Wright and Ashley Knight matched Negrete's 9.800 on vault, contributing to a strong finish for the Wolfpack.

NEGRETE EARNS WEEK 2 CONFERENCE HONORS
NC State veteran Chloe Negrete was named ACC Specialist of the Week after her standout performance at the Sprouts Farmers Market Collegiate Quad. Negrete led the Wolfpack in scoring, earning 9.800 or higher on all her events.
