Wolfpack to Face Wake Forest Twice this Week

RALEIGH, N.C. -- The NC State volleyball team is set to host Wake Forest on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 7pm in Reynolds Coliseum before traveling to face the Demon Deacons in Wake Forest on Saturday, Nov. 16 at 7pm in Reynolds Gymnasium. Both matches are set to be streamed on ACCNX.

The Basics of the Matchups

The Pack will meet with the Demon Deacons twice this week -- in Raleigh on Wednesday and at Wake Forest on Saturday. Wednesday marks the 54th all-time meeting with the Demon Deacons and NC State holds a two game advantage in the series history (28-26). The Wolfpack has won nine of the last 10 meetings.
In the last meeting, three members of the Pack combined for 34 kills -- Ava Brizard, Courtney Bryant, and Martyna Leoniak.

Down to the Wire

With just six matches left in the 2024 regular season, the Wolfpack looks to continue to build a resume that would earn it a spot in the NCAA Tournament. Despite having an RPI that should have gotten NC State into the tournament, the Pack was marked "first four out" in 2023 due to not enough quad-one wins.
The Pack checked in at 48 in this week's RPI rankings, 51 in the KPI, and 38 in the strength of schedule report.
Out of the eight remaining games in ACC play, the Pack will face a ranked opponent in at least four of them -- Miami received votes in this week's poll.
